If true, Trump will not hit Cruz hard. He knows his supporters also like Cruz. He also knows he needs the Cruz voters. Works same for Ted. This was not a hard hit at Trump.

He went on: "Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that's a question of strength, but it's also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them." (Trump, Carson)

I don’t think judgment is Trump’s Achilles heel. Trump’s instincts are actually pretty good. His biggest problem is lack of knowledge outside his field of expertise. He’s similar to Carson in that way. He’s done a fairly decent job of minimizing the damage that shortcoming can potentiaaly cause him, but Trump will have more and more trouble with that as the campaign proceeds. In a one on one debate Cruz could eviscerate Trump. I think Trump knows that. Cruz knows it too but also knows it would be bad for the country for him to do that.

Maybe Ted Cruz meant to criticize Trump for not having the courage to call Mitch McConnell a liar like he himself did?

That would be one way to criticize him effectively.

If he goes politically correct, everyone will see right through it and he will be in trouble.

Trump might just ask everyone in the next debate to state what country they were born in.

That will leave a mark.

I’m sorry to hear this. Cruz has made an error in judgment here.

one person at the fund-raiser questioned Mr. Trump's having "his finger on the Supreme Court button," according to the attendees, a reference to the president's ability to nominate the justices.

I have the same trepidation about Trump. I have no confidence at all that he would nominate a constitutional conservative or that he even knows what that means.

I am for Cruz and Trump, have not criticized either, though I have said that Trump would be more of a question mark when it came to Christian issues and Supreme Court.

But have noticed that there are people fighting here between the supporters, I only added one day (the above) that though I am very excited about Trump that I felt he would be more of a question mark when it came to Courts and Christian issues, someone took offense to that as if I was attacking Trump.

Was not the case, I have been supporting Trump all over, even on the Golf Channel forum, and yelling at the tv when people lie about him.

When the 2 begin to take issue with one another, will be interesting, probably upsetting

The media/GOPe is ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE for Cruz and Trump to fight and take each other out of the race.

Cruz was on FOX morning show. He was trying to talk about his policies but all the interviewer asked him was:

"Trump said ____________ ,what do you think?"

Ted said something that tries to bring it back to his policies -The guy cuts him off: "But what do you think about Trump?"

Ted again attempts to talk about his issues. But the reporter would not let it go.

The whole interview was:

"But what about Trump?"
"But what about Trump?"
"But what about Trump?"

They want them (Cruz Trump) to take the bait and destroy each other. Then Jeb can come in- ughhhh.. Don't fall for it guys.

Whatever Cruz said, he said at a private event where people paid to hear him make his case for himself. He has said nothing publicly about Trump .

For those caught up in hysteria, wailing about this so called "betrayal" and "back-stabbing" of Trump-Remember this is primary election. Each candidate has to make his case as to why he/she is the best person for the job.

Again for the traumatized:

Whatever Cruz said, was said at a PRIVATE fundraiser. He has said nothing publicly.

People paid good money to hear Ted Cruz make his case.

If I pay, (Unfortunately I don't have the money), to go to Cruz's fundraiser - I want to hear him talk about who he is, and why he is better than the others in the race. I don't want him to endorse Trump. (Wouldn't expect Trump to endorse Cruz at a Trump event for that matter.)

No big deal here people. This whole thing is stupid.

It is also an attempt to get Cruz and Trump to destroy each other so GOPe Jeb can move up- Don't play into it.
