Ole Miss is attracting attention for renaming its annual holiday celebration to make the event more inclusive for members of the university community.
"A Grand Ole Christmas," the university's annual campus tree-lighting ceremony, will now be known as "Hotty Toddy Holidays," according to Kay P Maye, who handles special events for the Student Activities Association

My aunt went to Ole Miss in the 1930’s, and my dad too. If they were still alive, both would say the administration has gone nuts and needs to be fired.
And my dad was probably the biggest Ole Miss fan the school has ever had. He attended football games up to his 88th year.
They shouldn’t even bother to put up a tree.
What a joke.
They’re still embarrassed over Jefferson Davis, who was born in KY and is buried in VA. If Davis were interred in MS, sounds like the liberals now in charge there would have him exhumed and tossed into the Gulf.
Hotty Toddy Holidays. ..a baccanalia of booze and orgies.
The students should go to a campus free speech zone and sing Christmas carols.
