Why would TRUMP leave the Republican Party if he is on TOP the POLLS?

Let's Keep Calm, wait for the polls to come out.

Lets see if he reaches 45%

He would leave if shenanigans take place at the Convention, which seems more and more like a possible scenario the more desperate the RINOs get.

Imagine if he trounces the others in primary after primary, yet on the floor the others get their delegates to pool around a common alternative, say Cruz or Rubio? It’d be a bloodbath.

Key words: TRUMP IS WINNING AS A REPUBLICAN, that is not going to change in my opinion. Trump is a Loyal person, he will not betray what he has started.

I think this rumor keeps going because of wishful thinking by those that hope he will lose. As Trump would say "Not gonna happen"

I think Trump is making the threat just to scare the crap out of the losers of the GOPe. He loves to yank their chain.

With his great poll numbers, I would let the primary season take it’s course.

Consider that no one has been talking about Trump running as an independent for the last 6-8 weeks. Then consider that Trump brings it up seemingly out of nowhere.

Why would he do this? Why bring it up now when it’s an all-but-dead issue

Unless....

Unless Trump wanted to send someone a message.

My guess: The GOPe are plotting and scheming on rule changes to keep Trump off the ballots, ensure as few people can vote as possible (and that only their people can vote etc..). In short, skewing the game to get the result they want. Trump saw it and this is his way of calling them out on it.

Because he won’t get the nomination.

The political service class will make sure of it.

He won’t. He’s just trying to keep the GOPe all shook up, you know, so they don’t know whether to poop or wind their watch.

He’s surrounded by some pretty smart people who I can’t imagine would recommend to him to leave the party. If the party leaves him, that’s different, but to run an indie campaign would be futile.

Trump was at 41% in yesterday’s morning Consult Poll. Carson 12%, Rubio 10%, Cruz 7%, “Saint” Jeb at 5%...

If they play games with the delegates.

The way the establishment is attacking Trump now shows they probably won’t support him if he wins the nomination. JMO
