Reminder to everyone. Master Card recently isssued me a new card with the fancy Chip technology. f course, the new card has a new number; and that was the card I was using for my monthly donation to FRee Republic. I have notified Jim of my new number and encourage anyone with the same problem to do the same to keep FRee Republic up and running.

Thank you so much, dearest afraidfortherepublic! Expired credit-cards are a problem and I know that RedMDer always posts a reminder graphic on every FReepathon thread, but I doubt that's sufficient.

As you likely know, I do NOT have ANY involvement in the business of FR so I do NOT know if reminders are included in the deduction statements when the Monthly donation statements are e-mailed. (I guess I should READ one of mine ...).

I would suggest that reminders to check the validity and expiration date of the credit card used for FR MONTHLY DONATIONS should be included in every monthly statement e-mailed to all Monthly Donors , if they aren't.

I say this because I know we get approximately 60 New Monthly Donors or more during every FReepathon, but our total Monthly Donors don't seem to grow (accumulate) in number as they should.
