Thank you so much, dearest afraidfortherepublic! Expired credit-cards are a problem and I know that RedMDer always posts a reminder graphic on every FReepathon thread, but I doubt that's sufficient.

As you likely know, I do NOT have ANY involvement in the business of FR so I do NOT know if reminders are included in the deduction statements when the Monthly donation statements are e-mailed. (I guess I should READ one of mine ...).

I would suggest that reminders to check the validity and expiration date of the credit card used for FR MONTHLY DONATIONS should be included in every monthly statement e-mailed to all Monthly Donors , if they aren't.

I say this because I know we get approximately 60 New Monthly Donors or more during every FReepathon, but our total Monthly Donors don't seem to grow (accumulate) in number as they should.

After reading your post I checked my account and the last monthly donation was in September for the same reason of getting a chip-card as a replacement.

I will fix that now and try to make a new graphic mentioning the new chip-cards.
