Ted is a big time weasel. Career politician that is being exposed for what he always has been. The contrast between he and Trump is stunning. Trump is the real deal and a leader. Cruz is not. Ted, true to form, runs to the Senate to draft a meaningless bill that has no chance of passing and which if it did, would solve nothing, all the while claiming he’s fighting for us. But Cruz supporters don’t see Ted’s half measures for what they are. Trump is the only candidate that has a chance to fix this country. The rest, including Cruz are pretenders.
The polarization is palpable here :-)
In trying to be “conservative” (without a reference beyond) there is more and more “liberal” (or rather, illiberal) behavior.
The actual story of the battles of mankind is that of rises and falls and teamwork, as the Lord God acts from beyond the scene according to how people are prepared and what they choose.
I warned folks a long time ago about putting Ted on a pedestal. Now that he is not pedestal material, others want to put Ted in the trash. Both of these are wrong. True enough only one person could be “President” but are we wanting a king or an equitable administrator with a bold side when it came to protecting the people? George Washington did pretty well as both. Maybe Trump is more Washington-like than we realize, perfect oh heavens no, but God doesn’t need our perfect to express His perfect.
I know nobody likes an “I told you so.” But it wasn’t really me that could have told you all this. It was the Lord. I just heard it on His grapevine.
I like Ted Cruz, he is definitely someone you want on your side. If Trump was not in this race I would be all in for Cruz with Paul my second choice. But Cruz is not the leader Trump is. Cruz is a brilliant lawyer, he will make a fine Supreme Court justice. Or a very good VP to President Trump.
