A dozen Syrian refugees arrive in Texas today hoping to start a new life far from their war-torn homeland. But they're not being welcomed by the state.
Six of the 12 refugees are members of one family. Two small children with their parents and grandparents will join relatives in Dallas.
The other six refugees will be greeted by relatives in Houston. The Bayou city will get another nine refugees on Thursday.

I have seen two articles over the past couple of weeks concerning 30 bus loads that were brought into Harrisburg, PA airport on UPS planes (at night). I can’t find anything about that situation. Has anyone ever came up with anything definite about it?

If you find out the buses were all white, dark windows and no company banner on them, let me know. A couple of us Texas FReepers have seen them at different times and different places in the past 3-ish weeks. Seriously, note my name and please let me know.

Some of you might remember when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and then we bombed Japan. (today is the day to remember) It took YEARS for the United States people to accept Japanese in any fashion. They were called a name and that lasted until at least 1970... I heard it used for all those years. Their products were considered trash. But they honed in on education and made better products over the years..to better themselves. It was they who did the bombing to us... and yet they were very angry at the United States. Atomic bombs are horrible... and innocent people were killed and scarred for life... but Truman was not a weak man.. he did it to stop the war.. and it did! I bet the younger generation never experienced any of that.
I just wonder how long it will take for the refugees/muslims to be accepted here... in my book... not as long as they are sharia bound and their way or the highway... I want them OUT.
