Here we go again folks.
President Obama did a quick change on Sunday, slipping on a tuxedo to attend the Kennedy Center Honors less than an hour after delivering a speech on terrorism from the Oval Office.
The commander in chief arrived just after 8:30 p.m., during an intermission of the annual ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. The night’s host, Stephen Colbert, quipped to the audience that the owner of a green and white helicopter with “MARINE 1” tags “left your lights on.” Obama grinned as Colbert continued, “Thanks for joining us, Mr. President.”
Unreal!
Ok. I get it. I’m aware.
But u did not answer the question.
What exactly are you buying and from whom?
My first choice is Cruz, my second is Trump. I’m not stupid. Either is better that the Commie in a pantsuit.
It may surprise you but I totally agree. There are plenty of effective ways women can serve, but they don’t need to get in the way and weaken a man’s fighting ability nor put him in danger. I was discussing this very thing with my retired Marine son just last night.
Go, Trump, GO!!
14,500 last week in Columbus. I was there.
I may not agree, but Trump is espousing a feature of the "eminent domain" system that has been ensconced in law for 200 years.
Yeah, but the reality is, once you’re out, you’re out for good. Even the “good ones” (as Trump knows) won’t get back in because a) they broke a law to get in, and b) the process at the embassies will be long and tortuous.
Interesting story about the Yorktown lost at Midway: a chief warrant officer (? could be getting my Navy ranks mixed up) noticed at the Battle of Coral Sea, where Yorktown was damaged, how bad the spread of fire was, so he came up with an early form of CO2 release in the pipes that suppressed fires. He took the idea to Commander (Captain?) Buckmaster, who order him to implement it. By the time the Yorktown went to combat at Midway, it had this system fully in place, and in part that kept it from being sunk in the initial aircraft attack.
Thereâs an old Scandinavian saying that women are bad luck on a ship.

There are a lot of stories bout great Lady Captains back in the Sailing Days. Interesting reading.
My son asked a friend of his one day a few years ago to take me duck hunting on Lake Okeechobee on his boat. First response “No Women On MY boat!.” Son talked him into it. Now he only takes me and we have always had great hunting days. I’m called an “Old Gun.”
Thank you for your service to our country, both then, and now. I’ve been on board “YOUR” Yorktown several times. Carriers and submarines fascinate me. Was also on board the Missouri on Navy Day in Norfolk, shortly after WW II. Love anything that floats.....guess I’d go to sea in a teacup if I could fit.
Works for me!
Obama creeps me out. Sometimes it seems like he has no soul.
Actually, it's just as disappointing that those receiving the honors didn't say or do something.
When I was in Task Force 92 off the Korean Coast in the Winter of 1951 we had other Essex Class Carriers numbering in the 40âs, like the Valley Forge, and others that have been wiped from my memory by the mists of time.>>>
thank you for your service my dad was there in Korea on the Iowa. looking at the dates i might need to ask him how he got there cuz i might be related to the mailman.
Yes. And Trump is the Greatest Show on Earth.
Go Trump!
Hopefully he will reiterate no more Muslims.
BTTT
You might want to consult "Law and the Conditions of Freedom" by J. Willard Hurst.
And, did people leave the rally like Kasich said? Can’t trust that son-of-a-mailman.
No. I stood in back-—cause even though we were early there were already 10,000 people in line! So I had a view of the whole auditorium. NO ONE left early. Three or four protestors were taken out-—I doubt they count. Two Hillary followers in front of us, who held up their little “H” signs until I ridiculed them so bad they quit, left.
