One woman on line tried to tell the people that she was a big hunter, big 2nd amendment , raised and been , and used guns since 5 years old etc, but it is time to ban semit automatic weapons.
I entered their conversation and gave her a few facts, and then asked her does she know what semi automatic is.
She replied where it fires lots of bullets at one time.
Corrected her again. She then tried to talk about auto guns where I told her how the law has changed and you do not have mags where she is with 30 rounds.
What she was doing was pretending to be a gun rights person, pro second amendment to strangers to push an agenda for banning guns. This was about two months ago.
That is the sort of crap and B/S liberals do. Pretend to be something , but then say it is time to have common sense laws.
Wait till the election when stickers will say vets for Hillary, or working class man for Hillary. The liberal driver knows they are lying , but to them it is all about deceit and making it look like they are the majority for the sheep to follow.

No surprise. The nine political hacks in black muumuus have always been reluctant to take cases on 2A grounds. They’ll take dozens of cases on business issues every term, but when it affects the liberty interests of the little people they’re less than enthusiastic.
Didn’t used to be that way...it is a waste of our time to do tbis, and is probably just a software issue.

There are four solid Libs on the Court and three solid Conservatives. Roberts and Kennedy are wild cards. Any decision on this could range from 5-4 to overturn the ban to 6-3 to uphold it. Most likely scenerio is 5-4 to uphold, with Roberts siding with the Conservatives and Kennedy the Liberals.
With a good chance of winning the White House next year, kicking the can down the road hoping for a change in the makup of the Court (Kennedy retires, possibly Ginsburg and Breyer as well) is a safe move. If the ban gets the supporting imprint of Supreme Court precedent, stare decisis says it’ll be incredibly hard to root out.
Since there are no “Assault weapons”. How can the SCOTUS rule s on a ban on them?
