With President Barack Obama set to address the nation on ISIS and terrorism tonight, a new CNN/ORC Poll finds Americans increasingly displeased with the President's handling of terrorism and more willing to send U.S. ground troops into the fight against ISIS.
For the first time in CNN/ORC polling, a majority of Americans (53%) say the U.S. should send ground troops to Iraq or Syria to fight ISIS. At the same time, 6-in-10 disapprove of the President's handling of terrorism and 68% say America's military response to the terrorist group thus far has not been aggressive enough.

Yep. Same old crap. Save our ass and we will treat you like shit if you get back.
Obama's meddling and incompetence in Syria has produced the most dangerous situation since the Cuban missile crisis IMO.
With the deployment of the S-400 batteries by Putin, Syria's skies are under Russian control, all other states fly there at Russia's sufferance.
Experts are uncertain whether even the B2 stealth bomber or the Raptor can get past the S-400.
The US may have a system that can destroy the S-400 batteries but striking them would in itself start a major conflagration.
Watch Obama try something extremely stupid like declaring a no-fly zone in northern Syria to protect ISIS and Erdogan's lucrative stolen oil business.
The Winds of War....
Most Americans haven’t said anything.
Go to Syria to fight Assad and Russia then WW3.
Meanwhile, 0bama will continue to import ISIS invaders.
0bama is the real enemy.
Our ground troops are already stretched too thin. Carpet bomb them 24 x 7 and if that doesn't work NUKE 'em!
Gaslighting propaganda IMO.

Goering:Why, of course, the people don’t want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.
Gilbert: There is one difference. In a democracy, the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.
Goering: Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

Not this American
This is not our fight.
We don’t even know who is ISIS or Al Nusra or any number of other splinter groups over there with constantly shifting alliances. It is nothing but a trap for us ... and for what? So that one team of Islam or another team of Islam can come out on top? For some unknown period of time and some unknown piece of ground?
No thanks
Col North was on Fox & FRiends this morning and said we do not have to send troops, just give the Kurds the weapons they need and they will deal with ISIS. The Kurds have not lost one battle against them
Yes and OFail has refused to give them mortors and shoulder fired rockets. Fortunately I read the other day the Russians are dropping armaments to them via air drops. hopefully what they need.
Exactly correct. We have suffered nuclear guilt beginning soon after the war. The Leftists started advancing that idea as soon as they could.
Jennifer Agiesta, CNN Polling DirectorYeah, rely on that, uh-huh.
My fear is we will fight a half-hearted war like Viet Nam and end up killing our very best young men.
ISIS needs to be smashed with superior force and weapons with minimal American casualties.
The rules of engagement should strongly favor our troops.
There should be no prisoners.
Confirms what the last two presidential elections have shown. Most of Americans are stupid.
Dumb dumb dumb
These were the same idiots who reviled bush for 7 years for embroiling us in an winnable war against an ideology we are too pc to condemn
some would say we should send troops to Washington first.
To Washington and to our border ports of entry. Fighting them over there accomplishes nothing when this regime is bringing them over here.
