Tonight Obama will try to reassure us that the government will keep us safe despite the recent setback. He will give a bunch of facts and figures showing how much munitions and sorties we have used against ISIS. He will cite some successes on the ground.

But Obama will not be able to stop himself from linking gun control to the fight against terrorism. He may announce that no one on the "No fly" list will be allowed to buy a gun. He will talk about revisions to the Visa Wavier Program to better screen those who come here without the need for a visa. He will accuse Congress for not giving him what he needs. He will conflate domestic terrorism (Planned Parenthood and Charleston) with ISIS. And finally, he will defend Islam and the refugee program.

I have no doubt he will use FDR's We have nothing to fear, but fear itself. Probably as the last sentence prior to God Bless America.

Tonight, Obama will wrap himself tightly in the American flag showing some phony outrage and anger. Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Yeah, there’s something big up with this sudden speech. The admin’s getting a lot of heat over that California thing.

That new rule “on the no fly list....no gun”....I think you’re right. They want to squeeze in any kind of control to be manipulated later as they tend to do.

But can he do that? If I’m on a no-fly list....(and how does one end up on this list?)....and denied my second amendment right due to being on the no fly list....is this constitutional?

More important....will the GOP elite do anything about it?

It's a slick move and hard to counter. These guys have it all wired. To think that it just happened is sheer folley. First its those on the list then its those on another list and on another and another until no one qualifies for a gun,very slick.Then they forget to tell us they expanded the list. Never ends with liars and commies. Problem is I have heard a lot of people on the list are conservative terrorists, made for the regime. Of course you have to be brain dead not to figure out that the criminals always get guns its us who obey the law.
