Doesn’t matter, Bobby Boy (yes, reading the responses to YOU, I see that sobriquet gets under your skin). Seems like you’re getting attacked fairly well, so no need for me to go further, LOL.

I suppose what bothers me about your “objective” remarks is their similarity to the European Way of thinking. There is an old saying in France. “When will we ever learn? America always wins because when they are presented with a problem and a possible solution, Americans always say, ‘Sounds like it could work. Let’s try it.’ The French always look for all the reasons why it won’t work before they come to the conclusion it will work. By that time, it is too late.”

As an example, your worry about him preparing answers for questions which will come later....when the boxing gloves come off. Do you think Trump ever started a project....any project, without thinking about it, turning it over in his mind, and finding solutions to what he foresaw as possible drawbacks? Some people see the completed project before they drive the first nail. Trump is one of those rare individuals. He has what it takes because he can show the proof of his efforts. There is not a single other person in this race who can show a track record within a mile of Trump’s. Within a hundred miles of Trump’s!
We do not need another politician at this point in our history, we need someone who will put America’s Economy on a sound footing. Nothing else matters. Throughout history, the winners have always destroyed the economy of the losers. The One World Order (Communism) has been destroying our economy for scores of years and we keep electing greedy politicians who only care about their own pockets and furthering their idealism.
I am a positive person by nature. Negativism annoys me! Negativism never wins!

[[I suppose what bothers me about your “objective” remarks is their similarity to the European Way of thinking.]]

There’s nothing European about it - simple observation of past process of folks running for office suffices to come up with objective analysis- this isn’t negative- this is simply reality-

[[The French always look for all the reasons why it won’t work before they come to the conclusion it will work. By that time, it is too late.”]]

that’s a much different issue than a pundit giving opinion- there’s nothing to ‘do’ just opinions about what could happen -thats’ the difference

[[As an example, your worry about him preparing answers for questions which will come later....when the boxing gloves come off.]]

Again, it’s not a worry, nor is it a fact- it’s simply something that could happen given his lack of political experience on a national level-

[[We do not need another politician at this point in our history, we need someone who will put America’s Economy on a sound footing.]]

Which is what Reagan and Bush did- By using proven methods of capitalism and tax breaks etc- Trump isn’t the only one running capable of a winning formula- (I’m not arguing against him being a good financial genius’s, just stating this country was doing pretty well I n the past under proven formula and showing that Trump isn’t only one capable of helping build up an economy)

[[I am a positive person by nature. Negativism annoys me!]]

There’s nothing negative about looking at both sides of the issue- and really, a good business person does exactly that- they don’t just dive in willy nilly with a ‘positive attitude’ thinking ‘it’ll all work out In the end because I’ve got positive attitude’-

[[The French always look for all the reasons why it won’t work before they come to the conclusion it will work. By that time, it is too late]]

An just for the record, smart companies pay experts huge bucks to do just that- look at all angles so they can prepare the best possible course of action- the most lucrative- many companies rely heavily on experts who’s job it is to look at all angles positive and negative-

But again- I’m not beign negative about anything- as I’ve explained- I’m not wishing for his failure, nor am I hoping anyone else wins- I’m simply stating a well known fact that later, towards the election period, people will begin demanding more specifics, and if he doesn’t provide them they will be rightfully suspicious and won’t simply take his word for it that he can get things done when he’s doesn’t say how- it will seem to them too much like nancy Pelosi saying ‘we just have to pass it to see what’s in it’ (Obviously people were very skeptical, and rightly so, of her statement because she refused to say what was in it- and please- I’m NOT comparing trump to her- I’m simply stating what pundits are saying could happen in trump doesn’t get specific, people will be ‘cautious’ even leery of him if he doesn’t explain things better- People are reserving judgment for now because he hasn’t given them much In the way of specifics- He generalizes too much right now “I’m gonna do this that and the other thing- believe me” without saying how- Now, in a previous post, I stated that could be his strategy for now, holding his cards close to vest- and that’s fine for now but I think we get closer and closer to election time, you will begin seeing people demanding more- and if they don’t get it, they will look elsewhere-

This country has seen many early leaders fade I nthe end because they didn’t have the answers- specifics that the voters demand

Havign said that- this is a different tiem in history- people are simply just really really fed up with Washington- perhaps like never before- fed up with having opur constitutional rights violated (president coming on tonight to do another gun grabbing speech)- and Trump’s business experience and lack of political insider-ness, and generalizations when speaking may just be enough to carry the day for him- and if so, more power to him- But it’s not beign negative to suggest that candidates sometimes fade because they don’t have specifics but rather simple observation of past candidates and their runs for office-

We know the media is going to be absolutely brutal to him when it comes down to debates between him and Hillary- a brutality like he’s likely not had to face yet- He’ll likely handle it fine- but again, the media is not going to let him get away with generalizations like ‘believe me, I will’ during that period

you seem to be determined to brand my remarks as negative when I’ve shown that that isn’t the case- but whatever-

The biggest words in your vocabulary seem to be “if, and but.”

Reality has many faces. What makes you think you know more about past political races than many of us on this thread?

You remind me of a lawyer arguing his case by throwing anything and everything in the pot hoping something will stick. I simply don’t believe you are anything but a Cruz supporter who is trying to cause doubts about Trump. There are indications of this, but I won’t reveal them to you as it might expose your velvet gloves technique. For the moment it’s amusing and a little bit irritating to watch you perform.

When you speak of political experience on a national level, Trump’s business experience on a national AND an international level is enough for me. He knows how the game is played already.

you are a smart one! Exactly right. In the dog eat dog world of competition in main street economy, a businessman succeeds by watching every dollar, setting priorities and be a good judge of people.

Professional Politicians? All they care is beg rich donors so they can get re-elected. Lot of smooth talking, no accomplishments. Take senator Cruz for example. He is unable to build friendships with other senators. His bills go nowhere. But he is excellent talker, speech maker, and debater.

Thank you. We’re on the same wave length! It must be an causing excruciating pain to the establishment to see that the American people will not sit still and be lied to any more. We’re on to their game and we know who can fix it because we live in the real world.

[[The biggest words in your vocabulary seem to be “if, and but.”]]

Like I said in my last post- many companies hire people to explore the ‘ifs and buts’- not sure why that even bothers you so much? Someone doesn’t show 100% blind support for your chosen candidate and you jump on them for trying to have a discussion about how he’s running his campaign? and Accusing me of being a ‘cruzbot’ ‘out to sabotage a trump thread’? Really?

I’m an analytical person- apparently that isn’t acceptable to those who support trump without question? Just askin

[[You remind me of a lawyer arguing his case by throwing anything and everything in the pot hoping something will stick.]]

That’s simply not true- I’ve only brought up a couple of specific points molly- and have simply restated them in different ways- not sure exactly what you’re talking about- I defended my position ,and for some reason you and others In this thread seem to take offense to the fact that I dare ask questions or express concerns-

[[ I simply don’t believe you are anything but a Cruz supporter who is trying to cause doubts about Trump.]]

You couldn’t be further from the truth- There are two candidates out of them all that I will whole heartedly support which ever one wins the nomination- Trump and Cruz- I would of course vote for the others IF I had no other choice- I am holding off on deciding on the two for now because it’s simply too early and we’ve not gotten specifics yet- perhaps ted will come out with some real whacko stuff like TPP support or something (There’s some talk that he supported something related to TPP- I’m reserving judgment till I find out more)

[[There are indications of this, but I won’t reveal them to you as it might expose your velvet gloves technique.]]

Nonsense- I’ve explained it fully to you- I’ve even stated I will whole heartedly support him if he becomes nominee- not sure whatr more it will take to convince you that tyou are simply wrong about me-

You’ve tried speaking for me, tried putting words I nmy mouth, and flat out misrepresented what I’ve said and misrepresented the intent of what I’ve said- and you’re ‘not sure’ about me?

[[For the moment it’s amusing and a little bit irritating to watch you perform.]]

You’re annoyed at me? You keep putting words in my mouth, speaking for me, misrepresenting what I’m saying and you’re annoyed at me? Sorry- not feeling your pain here!

[[When you speak of political experience on a national level, Trump’s business experience on a national AND an international level is enough for me.]]

That’s fine- you’re welcome to your opinion of course- I contend there’s more to being president than simply business deals

...............................................................
“Simply” business deals! You can’t be serious! Have you EVER been president of anything? Have you ever participated in a risky business deal in which millions are at stake? I doubtt it.

Thre are basically two kinds of people in the world. There are the George Pattons and there are the Bernard Montgomerys. America needs a Patton right now, not a Montgomery. You remind me of Montgomery. ‘Nuff said.

“they may usually win, but he is not a usual candidate- he could very well unravel big time and more solidly ‘political’ candidates could take the lead”

Except the odds of that happening are about the same as getting killed in a drone strike. :-)

wow- your ‘passion’ verges on fanaticism molly-

[[Have you EVER been president of anything? Have you ever participated in a risky business deal in which millions are at stake? ]]

As I said I contend there’s more to being president than simply business deals I n the business world- and I don’t believe that questioning whether soemoen can handle it I wrong-

[[Thre are basically two kinds of people in the world.]]

No molly, there’s lots of different kinds of people needed- Patton had his advisors too no doubt- and would make decisions based on their advice

What exactly is it that has you so angry? The fact that I bring up some possible points? That I don’t just blindly accept Everything Trump does as being 100% messianic-like?

[[Have you ever participated in a risky business deal in which millions are at stake?]]

What has any of that got to do with political knowledge on a national level? Instead of trying to impugn my experience level, how about rather make a case for why Trump’s business experience makes him qualified for others areas associated with being president, like military knowledge, foreign affairs with violent regimes, domestic issues regarding terrorism etc- Has trump ever had to deal with any of this? Has he been in on political deals that are being made with such regimes, etc?

I’m not saying you are wrong about anything- I just find it quite odd that you get so bent out of shape about someone who thinks it might be a good idea to find these things out first? Sorry, but I don’t do blind allegiance to just anyone- You may- and that’s fine- whatever-

[[You remind me of Montgomery. ‘Nuff said.]]

Wow- Now you’re resorting to liberal tactics? Like I said, instead of the name calling, how about instead making the case that trump is qualified beyond just “He’s good at business, and that’s enough for me and anyone that doesn’t think so is a big poopie head”

I’ve already posted my thoughts plus and minus regarding Trump several times. as well as some other candidates including Cruz.
You adhere to all the name calling so often used by the left such as passion, fanaticism, anger, blind acceptance, messianic like, blind allegiance, bent out of shape, etc, etc, etc.and those are simply excerpted from this single post. You are getting very tiresome and overly verbose while you smoothly fail to answer any questions.
I speak from experience while you speak insipid platitudes.
Obviously, the comparison of Patton and Montgomery went completely over your head.

[[You didn’t answer a single question.]]

BS- that’s another lie molly-

Like I said, my posts speak for themselves Molly- the only thing you kept implying was that trump was a good businessman, and that businesspeople deal In dirty business deals therefore trump will be a good president- I addressed that point several times- the only other thing you asked was whether or not he could manage money- I infact went into great detail actually agreeing with that point-

an early post by you- [[ You Don’t think Trump is capable of bringing back our former economic strength?]]

Answered several times

[[Do you think Trump ever started a project....any project, without thinking about it, turning it over in his mind, and finding solutions to what he foresaw as possible drawbacks?]]

Post number 8 [[Where, pray tell, do you see ANY signs of Trump “unraveling?” Where in his history has he ever unraveled? To think that he would become unglued is simply wishful thinking on your part,]]

answered by stating business isn’t the same as presidential politics- and explained to you I did not wish trump would fail-

Your post 90 “Why do you and so many others think business is not often a “Dirty, Brutal, Game?””

Answered- stated that trump hasn’t had dealings with national and international politics dealing with terrorist regimes to keep the peace before-

your post 102- no questions, just the same old ‘trump is a great businessman’ meme

Your next post 105- NO questions- just falsely accusing me of being something I’m not- and informing me his business experience is enough for you and that his business experience makes him capable of handling whatever the presidency entails

your next post 109- worthless questions about my business experience- that’s it-

you next post 114- no questions-

your next post [[fresh faced college kid.]] [[You are truly thick ]] [[ insipid insults ]]

Which questions exactly are you referring to molly? I’ve just been through all your posts- and the only thing you do is keep repeating the meme that ‘trump is a good businessperson- therefore...’ (fill In the blank)
