It seems that if the government was doing it’s job, red flags would have been raised when he went to Saudi Arabia to get a bride. Certainly flags should have been raised on the wife, she should not have been allowed to come into the country.

Because of what college she attended, because of what mosque she went to, because she lied on her application for a visa.
The CNN reporterette would have liked the serial killer Ted Bundy. When they finally caught the monster some people said he seemed like such a nice guy. It would appear the reporterette is a very gullible young lady... or she’s shallow beyond words.
Did she really think she would get away with that level of BS when talking to Donald Trump, of all people? Did she expect that he would just let that slide by when answering her question?
I’m glad Trump put her in her place. The problem wasn’t their normality. They were not normal; others just wouldn’t report their abnormal actions because of the fear of racial profiling. I’m glad Trump stressed the point about racial profiling.

My understanding is that he was third generation American, why would he go to the middle east for a bride? The woman was Pakistani, whose relatives in the middle east are saying that she became devout and started wearing hijab.
If I were any kind of security/investigator/whatever, I would not have automatically issued a visa to her without checking into her background. And I would have then checked into his background. Of course I’m paranoid.
