Separate Huey’s politics from his economics. In economics he was further left than FDR. In social and political Philosophy he was to the right. My point, though, was Huey was perceived as a threat and was taken out. May FDR like Henry II said and I paraphrase:” can’t someone rid me of that troublesome Huey” and it was done.

Reading “Le Figaro” Blog with help of Google translate... Many regions have this observation, “la gauche en décomposition”. The left is falling apart. LOL Many talk about the Republicans (Sarkosy) or National Front appearing to be ahead Most of the time they are 1-2 one way or the other
