My laptop screen is fried. It is broken that is the problem.

I have to buy a new laptop. That is why the F8 key doesn’t work.

It took my daughter to figure it out once I sent a screenshot of my laptop screen to her.

Somehow my puppy mamaged to break the screen, she recognized it right away because my grandson Nick has broke the screens to his laptops several times.

My beautiful Taylor has found me some bargains in laptop so I will go out tomorrow and buy one.

I can’t see how Louie could break the display unless there is a broken connection between the screen and the laptop or he somehow deleted a software driver. Something else is wrong and it may be a flaw in the electronics of the laptop.
If it were my laptop I would take it to a repair shop. Sometimes the shop has knowledge of those flaws and sometimes knowledge of recalls that we as consumers are not aware of.
I had a laptop fixed for free once by taking it to a local privately owned repair shop, not Geek squad or any of those.
If Louie did break the connection, that might be easily repaired too.
