After nearly $30 million in super PAC TV ads, Jeb's campaign still hasn't bounced back, which should worry donors.
John Ellis Bush is, according to most reports, still running for president. The latest Quinnipiac poll puts Jeb at five percent nationally: slightly higher than the candidates in the Also-Ran nether regions, but well outside the top tier occupied by Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. That five percent is perfectly in line with nearly every other poll released in the last couple of months, which show Jeb struggling to move out of the mid-single digits.
In New Hampshire, the state which Jeb's presidential hopes are said to be pinned on, things don't look much better. He's pulling in something like 7.5 percent - good enough for sixth place. In the last three months of New Hampshire polling, Jeb has broken out of single digits just twice, and has never come close to challenging frontrunner Donald Trump.
That's obviously not good news for the candidate who was supposed to be the establishment-backed juggernaut of the GOP field. But Jeb's poor numbers become downright scandalous when you take into account the many millions of dollars that pro-Bush forces have dumped into advertising designed to move the needle in Jeb's favor.

The Heb! fans have been rather quiet..
Such a waste of money. Drop out and donate the rest to the Military.
I bet more than Salon is worried.
JEB should declare George Pataki will be his running mate - that should be good for another 0.2% bump in the polls.
Maybe Yheb! should come out for building and manning a FENCE.
Or at least use it to defeat Hillary instead of using it to try and prop up an unelectable loser.
Invest 10’s of millions of dollars.
Then watch your poll number tank........
Helluva deal!!
Not true. Mike Murphy and his band of political mercenaries accomplished a lot — they’ve added at least a couple million dollars to their bank accounts.
I posted this on another thread; fits here too:
Bushâs campaign has been blanketing the airwaves here in Illinois for the last month, ad nauseum. I hate his Ads, they stink. I am so sick of seeing them that even if I was a Bush fan (I never have been), Iâd hate him just for the frequency of his Ads. The more he advertises, I suspect the more people dislike him. No more Bushes, ever. Their dynasty is done, finis.
Or use it to get that strabismus fixed.
Last thing we need is a Bush vs Clinton race OR a president from either house.
The ads have accomplished the same thing as Jeb’s speeches. People who used to have no idea who Jeb was, but disliked him for his last name, now know him enough to despise him for a good reason.
Awesome. I am still laughing.
Jeb, better open a taco stand because your finished as
Presidential contender. Your wife can take orders in Spanish.
Just like the $350 million Karl Rove spent last election with no results!
Because everybody already knew what Bush was and they rejected him out of hand, all of the ads in the world aren’t going to change that.
well there is only about 5 in every group of 100... and they are hiding in the shadows so no one knows they snuck in.
This man fails to except the fact very few want him as a candidate for President. By failing to drop out of the race he is becoming “Spooky!”
