Ted Cruz Loves Condoms but Wants to Keep Others From Getting Birth Control [liberal nonsense]
Slate ^ | December 1, 2015 | Christina Cauterucci

Posted on 12/01/2015 11:36:43 PM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Praise be the glory days of college, when a young Princeton conservative like Ted Cruz could buy a semester's worth of condoms for just a couple of quarters! The presidential candidate reminisced about his alma mater's ever-flowing rivers of latex penis-covers at a town hall in Iowa on Monday night, claiming that Hillary Clinton exaggerates the Republican Party's war on women.....

Cruz should take a hard look in the mirror before he calls the GOP's war on contraception "made-up nonsense." His thinking goes: I saw condoms everywhere in college, ergo condoms are everywhere. Condoms are getting more beautiful-just look at these works of phallic art coming out of France-but they're not getting any cheaper or easier to access. People who don't go to college, or who go to religious colleges or colleges without the funding or progressive wherewithal to install condom vending machines, would have a much harder time getting their hands on contraception than condom king Cruz did.

And Cruz has been one of the most prominent perpetrators of baseless attacks on Planned Parenthood-a source of contraception for millions of Americans, and a "criminal enterprise" according to Cruz. Cruz has also hyped his endorsement by a radical anti-choice activist and proponent of violence against abortion providers-sending the message that he condones the atmosphere of danger around the places that provide the country's cheapest, fastest access to birth control for low-income women......

This short, amusing clip of Ted Cruz really hits liberals, like this abortion advocate writer, where they live - the rotting edifice called Deceptionville.

And at the end Cruz's advice is to tell the truth with a smile because it drives the Democrats crazy!

abortion is not birth control

what would the left think if people who owned land asserted their ‘right’ to ‘hatchling control’ on their property and went around smashing spotted owl eggs?

THAT would be awful - just AWFUL. /s

These nit-wit, lock-step advocates for socialism don’t think. They’re just a bunch of programmed lemmings who live to spin and lie - telling the truth isn’t in their DNA.

There is a decided pattern emerging with liberal authored articles given the political climate and the wild card that is Donald Trump. Their wheels are coming off. No allegation, smear, or vile innuendo is too low or dispicable. But hey, that’s our leftwing media.

Yeah, it’s real hard to got condoms in America these days ...
not everyone can just login to the Walmart web page and order a 144 pack of Durex for for $0.237 / piece.

Noooo, in Bizzaro World, women must brave the knuckle dragging hordes surrounding the Fertility Temples to obtain this modicum of protection from the Goddess!

“People who don’t go to college, or who go to religious colleges or colleges without the funding or progressive wherewithal to install condom vending machines, would have a much harder time getting their hands on contraception than condom king Cruz did.”

***

The usual liberal baloney. Birth control is readily available just about anywhere. Condoms in particular can be bought in any drugstore, even grocery and convenience stores. Even where birth control is given away for free, there are still unwanted pregnancies. The problem is not the availability or cost of birth control. The problem is a lack of personal responsibility. Women in particular are too stupid or lazy to use contraception. They want to be “liberated,” but they don’t want to have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

And God help you if you suggest good old fashioned abstinence. They look at you like you are nuts.

We have made irresponsible behavior cheap, easy and without consequence. It’s time we take away the means to just “do whatever feels good.” Force the irresponsible to become responsible.

As with every one of these liberal grievance groups - the issue is never the issue, it’s the revolution.

It used to be pharmacies or truck-stop gas stations (check the package for pinholes!) for us. Now the darned things are in every grocery store, even Walmart. If you want them, they are out there. No one is trying to stop access to a disease prevention device.

Sheesh!

Wow! That's a good one!

Last babies we raised, I had hair to my belt (a biker thing), and my little darling painted every inch of it...

...claiming that Hillary Clinton exaggerates the Republican Party's war on women...

Not exaggerated, it's invented out of thin air! Pure fiction of the demented neo-feminist mind.

These leeches appear to believe that if it isn't free, it's forbidden. Are they really that stupid?

http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/publications/449-school-condom-availability

Condom Availability Programs Are Common.

Advocates for Youth National School Condom Availability Clearinghouse has found 418 public schools in the U.S. that make condoms available to students.

Condoms are made available through different strategies: school nurse, 54 percent; teachers, 52 percent; counselors, 47 percent; other health workers, 29 percent; principals, 27 percent; other school personnel, 13 percent; bowls and baskets, 5 percent; vending machines, 3 percent; and by students, 2 percent.

In 81 percent of schools, some type of parental consent is required before a student can acquire a condom. In 71 percent of the schools, all students have access to condoms, except those whose parents deny permission in writing (”opt-out”). In 10 percent, students have access only with written permission of their parents (”opt-in”).

In 98 percent of schools with condom availability programs, students may receive counseling. In 49 percent of the schools, counseling is mandatory for condom receipt.

Counseling commonly includes information on abstinence, instruction on proper storage and use of condoms, and, in some schools, a demonstration on using condoms.

Today’s little snowflakes are so helpless they need a government agent to come and put the rubber on them when they need one. They also need the agent (or a computer app) to tell them when they need one.

So, if you don’t get much action, you can still buy a semester’s worth of condoms for just a couple of quarters!
