If you can't make the effort to infer the meaning of the garbled texts, that's your problem; deal with it.
I will repair text that have only a few garbles; more than that, split into paragraphs takes too long; So I don't.
Just skip the posts you can't handle.

"It would take 2 minutes to replace the characters that are causing the posts to be unreadable." When I preview a post it reveals that you can't cut and paste anything in quotes or with an apostrophe without it looking like hieroglyphics. I go back and retype and the garbled text gets removed.
Any reason (or cure) for that?
