Seems like the back channels have been VERY busy the past few days. First is Erdogan’s gauntlet thrown of “prove I sell ISIS oil and I will resign...neener..neener..neener, you can’t”. Then the reports or S3/400’s getting moved into the area and now we have “Why can’t we be friends?”.
Seems to me Erdogan has obama bus tracks across his chest and he damn well knows there won’t be “another” shoot down besides Russia arming some birds with air to air missiles because Turkey lacks the ability to without quickly losing birds of their own (and possibly over the wrong “line on a map”.
Turkey either back’s down in such a way that leaves it with “some face” or Russia wipes the map of all things Erdogan because it is becoming increasingly obvious NATO (read that sane members, not obama and his hand picked military replaced LGBT/American shooter brass) do NOT have Turkey’s back.
