That is just weird. I have to wonder how often this happens.
I remember one about a crazy ex not too long ago.

There was one in Arkansas, too - crackhead burglar who tried to get into a pawnshop. He survived, which puts him ahead of the game.

Apparently this is a fairly frequent occurrence; do a search on *stuck in chimney and died* .

This may be the story about the crazy ex; the one I remember was that the guy broke up with her, then went to France on business and the woman tried to enter his house via the chimney:

I have helped pull a girl out of her chimney and our FD has pulled out several others over the years.

We were able to pull her out without damaging anything.

She asked if this was going to cost anything. “You are going to pay for this for the rest of your life.”

The crowd of neighbors watching applauded when she got back on the ground.
