Agree with the decriminalization of exporting oil and gas. But Who pays the subsidies required to cause privetly owned property to be sold at below market rates?

Those with the most inventory and plentiful access to it sets the price, for their own ends. Unleash the drillers in the vast resources in this country and watch the price drop and the availability increase. Americans will always figure out a less expensive way and always produce far more than any other country, and that is generally true for any industry. The problem is that the government always gets in the way.

WTF are you talking about?? NOBODY who has oil on their land should be forced to give it up. EVER. They should lease the land and oil reserves to a non OPEC company like SUNOCO and let them drill baby drill! Then the landowner gets a percentage of the profits. That's the American way. Just ask Bill Gates and Jed Clampett!
