Very Hitleresque. I’d just tell them that I don’t own any guns and let it go at that. Everybody is happy. They asked the question and I answered it. Then we can get down to the non-political reason why I was there in the first place.
Except at some point, they will either make lying to your doctor a felony (falsifying medical records), or use it to establish a baseline of mental incapacity (i.e., he owns guns but doesn't acknowledge it = denial of reality). Either of which will bar you from gun ownership under the uber-state.
“Iâd just tell them that I donât own any guns and let it go at that. Everybody is happy. They asked the question and I answered it.”
Yeah, you just have to bite your tongue and play their game, because any other answer is most likely to get you on somebody’s list. But at the same time you gain information about your “care provider” and they don’t know that you’ve “logged” their behavior for future reference.
I wouldn't be happy. I don't appreciate anyone prying into my business. The doctor is getting paid to provide medical care, not to interrogate me. I would tell the doctor I have no intention of discussing firearms I may or may not have. Either he lets it go or I leave. I don't try and placate liberals and I think it's a bad strategy.
