Chuck Todd once again confronted Donald Trump on Meet the Press and appeared to get more and more exasperated with Trump's false claim that thousands of New Jersey Muslims cheered on 9/11.
Todd pointed out that Trump has demanded "pinpoint accuracy" from the media--and at pretty much every rally Trump has called the press "dishonest"--and asked, "Why shouldn't we demand the same pinpoint accuracy in the claims that you make? Isn't it hypocritical of you calling us out if we're not calling you out when you stray from the truth?"
He repeatedly challenged Trump on that 9/11 claim, and Trump still insisted he saw it and bragged that many other people saw it happen and called/tweeted him to let him know that he's absolutely right.
Todd shot back, "That doesn't make it true!"
Trump said the cheering from Muslims happened "all around the world" so "why wouldn't it have taken place."

Very well said!!
Chuck Todd is the hypocrite, can you imagine him going after Hillary like this. She the one that is so despicable as to lie about a youtube video over flag draped coffins????
That's a new one!
It sure does, right now, anyway. It is so supremely ironic that finally the MSM has shot its credibility so low that they are rendered powerless in dealing with a candidate when that candidate lies. The R candidate can lie freely knowing the MSM's credibility is shot.
Pretty ironic, considering that "The Donald" Trump is a celebrity solely because he crafted it through MSM venues. The reason people think he's a brilliant businessman is because he's marketed himself that way through the MSM.
If he was famous because of his great business acumen, then the nine other real estate billionaires in the U.S. who outrank Trump (one is worth Trump x 4), would be really famous. Yet we've never heard of 'em.
The only reason Trump is famous is because he pursued notoriety. When folks trust what they perceive Trump to be, they're basically trusting the MSM -- and Trump's own word, of course.
... and thinking "the leftist is wrong"
... are wholly separate items. It is quite possible entertain both simultaneously.
I, too, saw muslims cheering in the streets...but wasn’t aware of the locality of these demonstrations - simply assumed it was coming from the middle east somewhere.
Chuck Todd's not a journalist - he's a democrat operative posing as a journalists. It's NBC's way of lying to all of us...
Let’s see him say the same to the rat frontrunner.
Blasphemy!
