Did everyone get all the turkey and mashed potatoes they could handle? Maybe a little more than they could handle? Super. Now, is everyone ready to vomit them back up? Never one to follow generally well-respected chestnuts like avoid talking about religion and politics over Thanksgiving, our tone deaf Commander in Chief steam rolled through that rule of thumb during his Thursday Thanksgiving radio address. What's even more insane is just how completely condescending and pretentious it sounds compared to Ted Cruz's. It's kind of a nicely wrapped contrast present between the Parties complete with a bow on top -to complete the holiday metaphor.
Sliding ever so smoothly into his real reason for Thanksgiving, President Obama transitioned from a Thanksgiving greeting into, "Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims - men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families."
Contrast that with Senator Cruz directly connecting America's greatness and liberty with the source of our rights and eventually quoting George Washington in his acknowledgement of Thanksgiving,
"On this Thanksgiving, as we gather with family and loved ones, we celebrate the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon us and this great nation. Particularly this year, as we face many uncertainties - from the threats of terror to economic hardships - let us take time to thank God for all that He has given us and ask for His provision in our lives and our country."
So, let's see. On one hand you've got a leader using the Thanksgiving holiday to guilt people into falling in line with his policy by insisting that Muslim immigrants are just like the original Pilgrims. On the other hand you've got another leader encouraging people to be thankful, even in difficult times, that we have much to appreciate and enjoy. I wonder if the President even knows or cares that his nonstop shoehorning only servers to embolden the people who are sick of him and annoy all the others who are on the fence.
Let's make sure he doesn't find out.
there would have been no second term by Obama if Cruz was running against him.
GOPe thrust losers Romney and McCain against us.
He’d be a great V.P. if Trump wins. Cruz could be the Pied Piper of conservatism winning everyone over from debate stages all over the country. Trump? Unlike Reagan he ‘can deal’ with Putin. I don’t think so but he’s got something up his sleeve. Together they could destroy Isis w/o the u.s. being taken advantage of(China,Mexico, etc).
Another issue: These feral blacks we keep seeing in the news, killing others with no remorse. Just plain evil. Incarceration costs this country $80 billion/year. You think Putin/Trump can’t work something out? Siberia is really big and vast. A reopened Gulag would allow us to ‘forget’ about this problem. Staff it with Syrian refugees. Far fetched and pie-in-the-sky but we can dream.
The Current Occupant is not merely condescending, he is in fact suffering from some kind of advanced mental derangement, a monomania in which he cannot entertain the remote possibility that he may be WRRRRR-ng.
Even some of his long-time partisans are getting a little edgy and looking for the exits in his presence.

Cruz is going to make a Fantastic President.
Yeah, Donald Trump, who has lived and breathed Free Markets all of his life, has built his $10 billion empire on the free market ideals, employed tens of thousands, competing in the Free Market for those employees, deserves the lowest rank, Red.
Meanwhile, Cruz who has only read about Free Markets, gets a midpoint grade, Yellow.
The foolishness of all that is that I’d be too embarrassed to promote such lies.
But, I have a conscience.
Whenever you post that graphic from Conservative Review you should include Carson and Rubio... or even just Rubio, because mark my words the GOP-e will be pushing Rubio, HARD.
President Cruz is the man!
He himself brags about all the politicians he's been buying throughout his career.
I guess he was paying them to keep the markets free! LOL!
Whether your a hooker or a john, you're participating in the same market.
Trumps been buying.
Cruz is still being bought.
But Cruz can’t look down deep inside and muster up the courage to call for deportation of all illegals. Best he can do is to call for a conversation.
Donald Trump quote...
61. “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.” Fortune, April 3, 2000

So far, it looks that that is true.
Many people think that Hillary spending a billion to get the presidency is honorable, and the way to run America.
So what is your point?
I would have no problem voting for Trump if he is the nominee (I would rather have Cruz). However, if you think D. Trump is the king of free markets, you have no clue how he originally obtained, and later made his money. Now, go do your homework, because I'm not going to 'splain it to you.
Pride goes before destruction.
Are you talking about Donnie taking daddy's money to make his first billion or talking about The Donald getting bailed out by daddy???
If I see that pos gif again, I’m gonna barf.
I do know how he got his first money.
I suspect it’s not how you think he got it.
Second, I will concede that there isn’t even one, not one, free market businessman in the United States.
There hasn’t been one for many, many, decades.
The closest one can get to a free market today is to buy a politician who blocks access to the same and convince him to allow you to pass through.
However, Trump is as much a Free Market guy as there is to be found these days.
He lives it, which is different than reading about it.
