The Daily Mail has many photos. There is a picture of his trailer in Hartsel- wide shot with no electrical poles nearby or lines running to property, FWIW. Maybe he has a generator. He doesn’t look too tuned in to current events going by his picture.

Most homes in the area are served with underground cables because of extreme winter winds (gusts to around 110 mph in some spots) and wide temperature variations. Transformers on the ground are out next to roads.
