Do you want a bulldozer without a rudder (U.S. Constitution)?
If you’re going to try and deny your own words in black and white, there’s no point in wasting my time with you.
Nobody has stood up against the Establishment more than Ted Cruz.
EMPHASIS
“Cruz, Carson, and Trump share ideas about what needs to happen to fix the country. Of the three, only Cruz has the proper conservative plan that can actually become a reality.”
Truth!
...Many of the concepts that Trump and Carson promote are righteous and important. They should be discussed. They should be fixed. Cruz knows that Trumpâs wall must be built and he knows that illegal immigrants must be appropriately handled through things like E-Verify. He knows that religious liberties must be protected despite the trend in America thatâs coming from both sides of the aisle. He has shares many of Trumpâs and Carsonâs ideas. The thing that makes him superior to them as a President isnât just that he has experience. Itâs that he has realistic approaches towards solving the problems. Some of the things that Trump and Carson promote sound great on the campaign trail but are utterly impossible to implement...
I think we’re referring to deporting illegals here. Sorry, that is an absolute necessity to me.
no point in wasting my time with you.

FOCUS ON THE SENATE
Arguments and presentations in RINO quarters against Cruz should be expected. What the establishment fears most is this .
Conservatives in certain states should be focusing on Senate candidates who do believe in controlling the purse and getting the government out of our bedrooms, kitchens, backyards, churches, and schools.
\
Even if it meant resorting to defunding and government shutdowns.
And by campaigning using those issues and asking why those go along, get alongs bipartisans refused to use these tactics which should have been applied with this bunch of socialistas bent on destroying this country

Quotes by This Author
âThe argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can âthrow the rascals outâ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policyâ (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, 1966.)
Doesn’t need on the job training... that is a good thing!
Well stated. I share your perplexity.
Conservatives here have pined for the real deal: an unabashed conservative who understands and fights for the Constitution, limited government and individual liberty. We haven’t had it for many election cycles. Now we have as close to it as we’re ever likely to get. I would have honestly guessed that Cruz would have 90+% support here. Yet he does not.
Why? Because there is another more consistent conservative? No. So far as I can tell, it’s because many have become convinced that Donald Trump is a conservative hero.
People who wouldn’t give the time of day to any other Republican who advocated single-payer health care, praised the likes of Michael Bloomberg, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, supported planned parenthood, abused eminent domain, etc., etc., have somehow decided to support Trump in large numbers. Why?
One aspect of it, I understand. He drives the MSM to distraction. I freely admit to finding that delicious. He also speaks plainly about immigration. I like that, too.
But beyond that, why folks here are choosing this philosophically incoherent and inconsistent man over a proven fighter for everything we believe in, I cannot really grasp. If Cruz wasn’t in the race? Yeah, I guess so - though I’d probably go with others. But Cruz IS there. And some are choosing what I fully believe is a pale imitation of a true conservative when they can choose the real thing.
I don’t get it. When pressed, Trump supporters typically offer one of two objections to Cruz: his past support for increasing H1B visas and the fact that they don’t approve of Cruz’s wife’s employer. The latter is, to be frank, utter idiocy. The H1B visa thing is legitimate - but that one apostasy pales by comparison to Trump’s many many apostasies over many many years.
Would Trump be a better president than Clinton? Of course! But that’s a pretty low bar. Hell, Goober Graham and John “Get Off My Lawn” Kasich would even be better than Clinton.
But for once we don’t have to settle for the lesser of the evils presented us. We have a guy who has fought for the Constitution since he was a teenager. A guy with battle scars from fighting the establishment and the intellect to smash any leftist who tries to do battle with him. And some are opting for a reality TV star.
I admit it. I just don’t get it.

I would hope not! In fact, if I DID see that, I'd immediately reevaluate my support for the man.
