Your trip to the mall could leave you with a shopping injury. A new study shows Alabama is one of the most dangerous states for Black Friday shopping.
The blog Estately ranks our state as the third most dangerous for Black Friday shoppers. Arkansas is ranked number one, followed by Tennessee at number 2. Louisiana and Missouri round out the top 5.

That’s exactly what I’ll be doing today. Put up the lights and Christmas tree.
And what a great day for it. It should hit 60 degrees in my neck of the woods today. I might even fire up the Weber one last time.
White Sale? Where? I need to stock up on sheets and towels.
60 degrees? What perfect weather to decorate (especially outside)! No winds.. no freezing temps... good for you!!
What is, "ROLL TIDE!", Alex?
LOL!

I’m with you. I can’t remember the last time I went to a mall. When I hear about Black Friday and, even worse, Boxing Day shopping, I cringe. I would rather pay double the price to NOT go out there.
On the right side of the screen, take a look at the black lady who had fallen.
She’s not so concerned with saving herself from being trampled as much as she is in putting her wig back on!
LOL
I stay totally out of stores with sales between Thanksgiving and about 7 January.
I have not been a covered mall since 9-11. I didn’t really need so drastic an excuse but it confirmed me in my aversion.
At the WalMart here much of the loot will be stolen. WM here has security guards but they are not allowed to stop someone making a run for the door with $5000 of electronics in his basket so many do that, especially with the crowds attending super-sale days. The police are not even called. I am sure that attitude causes higher prices throughout the year than would otherwise pertain. What is crazy is the fight in the parking lot over that basketful of stolen merchandise as another “shopper” attempts to hijack the original thief.
White Sales... Negroes are not allowed to participate?
Black Friday reminds me of that Russian oligarch who would throw dollars down to the streets just to watch the poor fight each other
I’m staying home. Besides, we don’t need more stuff.
I *REFUSE* to go anywhere near a store on Black Friday.
I went to the local grocery store this morning to get a marked down turkey to throw in the freezer and it was DESERTED.
That is the extent of it.
It is so rough out there, fights are breaking out among among Amazon shoppers!
