Of course he does. And actively engaging in the sales pitch under false pretense is exactly why he is "complicit" in the crime. The man is a traitor to the United States of America, and should be tried for treason having provided aid and comfort to America's enemies.

Obama knows almost nothing about US History, unless you count his having read Howard Zinn. He has no affinity for America’s heritage. He rejects America both cerebrally and viscerally. Why he’d even feel that the idiotic analogy of Pilgrims equal today’s Syrian refugees is anyone’s guess. He does have contempt for the American people, so that’s probably a big part of why he figures he can get away with such sloppy logic.
