Was it Warren Buffett who said ...
“You can’t tell until the tide goes out
who has been swimming naked.”
Dear Cheri:
Snotty arrogance in voting for Ross Perot got me EIGHT YEARS OF BILL CLINTON. Never again. Bring on President Trump and Vice President Cruz!
She is very low energy.
ever heard this woman on tv?.. she’s an airhead
I have no doubt that there will be major names defecting to the Clinton-Bush “ticket of national unity”, including all the donor class (imagine what we have become to have a “donor class”!).
Hopefully, the blue collar democrats and blacks voting for Trump will more than make up the difference.
Who cares?
Preach it brother! Ross Perot was in it for Clinton. It all went according to plan!
nice idea. i’ll bet the idea has caught his attention too. maybe he is saving it for a rainy day? (control the narrative, etc..)
ALL of these Political Consultants are the reason we have LOST over half the country!!!
Dear Cheri baby— you realize that we real conservatives have longtime reluctantly voted for the GOPee establishment Losers foisted on us lo these many years. Now its your turn to vote for one of ours. You and your ilk owe us BIGTIME...
“The country is damaged. The Republic is lost. We need a revolution to get it back. Trump is not the guy we need. I wonât vote for him either.”
Cool! You can write in a “real Republican” with your buddies in the GOPe.
Some of us will happily not be allied with that filth.
Well, those who realize that American winner take all elections with no chance of coalition government will almost always result in a choice between the lesser of 2 evils are politically learned. This circumstance will never change. I am too young to have had an opportunity to vote for Reagan, so there has NEVER been a Republican candidate I wanted to vote FOR. I have always been voting against the Democrats and any sensible right of center person would do the same. A vote for Romney, even though he wasn’t conservative, was the right thing to do since he was clearly better than Obama.
Saying that, this forum is always filled with a contingent that want to write in candidates, vote 3rd party, etc. So the idea that this “I will never vote for X Republican in a general election” is some aberration is nonsense - it is nothing new here. Heck, I remember all the people who foolishly thought the Constitution Party was a viable alternative.
I don’t like Trump. I consider him a self promoting blowhard who is not in the least bit conservative. However, if Trump wins the GOP nomination then I WILL vote for him in a general election against any Democrat.
We get to make our real choices during the primary season. The general election is simply a choice between the only 2 viable alternatives. Trump, much as I don’t care for him, will almost certainly be vastly better than Hillary. He has my support and vote if he wins the GOP nomination.
I have a simple rule...I refuse to liberals it statists....therefore there is no circumstance where I will vote for Capt Kardashian either.
Honestly, I am still struggling with whether I could ever vote for Donald Trump if he wins the nomination. Maybe if he picks someone like Sen. Cruz for V.P. who will help make sure that he sticks to the constitution and doesn’t go authoritarian/borderline fascist. However, there is a risk that I would be scared to make because I don’t know what he would do if given that much power.
“Are you the one who will fire the first shot in the revolution?”
Them? Hell no!
These are the same people that whine that Trump is so “mean” and is a “bully” for using language that is far milder than the prospect of having to aim a gun at a fellow American and pull a trigger.
The GOP strategy in 2016 is exactly the same as 2008 and 2012: run a proven loser and guarantee the dems the WH.
Rove Inc is very comfortable with a dem in the WH. For a whole host of reasons. Very, very, very comfortable.
She wanted Jeb. She can’t have Jeb. Now she’s having a tantrum.
Cheri...take a seat at the kiddie table...the adults are going to fix this mess you and your other GOPE children have made.
CruZ!!!!!
...liberals OR statists...
When this election started two people I did not want to see on the Republican stage were Colin Powell and Donald Trump.
I was a Scott Walker Ted Cruz supporter.
Trump surprised me and is staying the course.
Right now I am a Trump/Cruz supporter.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody. - Tom
I will not vote for any Republican except Cruz or Trump in the general election.
