Republican presidential contender Donald Trump has been criticised for mocking a disabled New York Times reporter.
Mr Trump performed an impression of Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a congenital joint condition, at a rally.
He has used a 2001 article by Mr Kovaleski to back up widely disputed claims that "thousands" of Muslims in New Jersey celebrated the 9/11 attacks.
The New York Times called Mr Trump's actions "outrageous".

How many crocodile tears did the Slimes shed when leftists were making fun of the Palin’s Down’s Snydrome child?
I read that article a whole bunch of times, and still can’t find where it says that “thousands and thousands of people were cheering,” as Trump claims. Try again.
The MSM has lied for decades about Republicans, it’s just that Trump has captured the attention of the folks and he has a direct way of reaching them. Twitter works for him, because he uses it against those that try to sideline him. The folks are pissed off at any establishment...MSM, GOPe, and DC insiders.......the list goes on. Trump is not on that list, he is one of the folks. The elites can’t contain him. It’s refreshing to watch.
“Stand up Chuck!” My 1st thoughts also.
Yes he is, we are sick and tired of all this PC crap that has been foisted on us for what seems like decades.
Now we have a fighter who not only isn't PC, he mocks those who are, and those, like the reporter, who use it as a weapon against the American people.
You are more right than you can imagine.
Thank God America is awakening.
As I say in a comment up thread, Trump can be embarrassing, but if we want to destroy PC culture, we have to stop being PC entirely.
Trump knows this and is in no way PC.
That's a price we've all got to pay if we are going to kill the PC culture that the Left is using to destroy free speech.
Respectfully disagree. The hand and facial gestures that went along with the mockery indicate to me that he was definitely picking on physical characteristics. I love the criticism of the whiny, slimey Times and their “reporters”, but I don’t think the ridicule of physical characteristics and disabilities serves Trump well at all. I’m not letting their nonsense or “love” for “Teddy” color my judgment at all. I’m making a very reasonable observation about political viability based on objective facts.
I think a guy like Trump can have it both ways: he can keep bashing them, but he doesn’t need to do it with this particular kind of humor: he has plenty of other tools and he’s good with all of them. A lot of people (ie: voters) are just going to be turned off by making fun of characteristics the individual has no control over and which rightly deserve a sympathetic understanding by people of good character. Don’t get me wrong: the reporter may be a jerk, may be doing a hatchet job, may be a hack or may be outright lying. That’s plenty to ridicule without making fun of a handicap or nervous disorder.

Whew, for a second there I believed you.
Another convert to The Church Of The Perpetually Offended, I see...
All NY Times reporters should be made fun of—continually.
Your quotation is nowhere to be found in the Columbus 23 November 2015 speech I watched and transcribed. Where did you get it, the MSM?
I didn't know the guy had a joint disorder ( I see one bent wrist)and no one else did either....until they were told.
My friend's wrist is like that. He has arthritis. Yes, it's that bad and he can hardly walk. Age 68.
Honestly, I believe the ONLY thing Trump can do now to self destruct is start acting like a mealy mouthed RINO apologist.
What people do not get is that the Trump movement is not really about Trump. He is simply a conduit for the angst, aggravation, fear, uncertainty and raw anger that is out there.
As if McCain, Romney, Preibus and Rove aren't already the biggest embarrassments to the GOP on the planet.

But after thinking about it, I realize that for us to destroy the PC culture, we must really stop being PC in any way.
That means saying that some Jews have big noses (and some don't), some Italians reek of garlic (me too sometimes), some Christians are ignorant rednecks (but some are intellectuals), some people are short, some tall, some talk funny (hell, we all talk funny to someone).
Anyway, you get my point. Trump reminds us that if we want PC dead, we must stop being at all PC. It's all or nothing.
Trump is gonna be Trump. He is not going to be PC to anyone. That means he is going to be insulting to everyone which translates as "don't be so damn sensitive. Buck up, insults are not gonna kill you."
