Only beancounter would suggest that Putin/Assad are aligned with the very people that are killing their troops. The guy is an Obama-nite troll.

We are in a world war, Muslims against the world. The arena of conflict stretches from the holes in the ground where the Twin Towers were destroyed to the finish line of the Boston Marathon. From the Philippines to the Middle East, from Paris to Tripoli. From the hotels of Mali to the hotels of Fiji. From shopping malls in Africa to malls in Israel.
If you’re talking about a war with Russia, no, we’re very far from that right now.

My guess is ISIS. Pissed that Turkey “allowed” Russia to bomb ISIS in Syria.

Come on. Not the “Kurds”, but the PKK will. All the Kurds except for the PKK are friendly with Turkey. The PKK are Marxist/Leninists. Want to ally with them? I’ve been all over N. Iraq and in the houses of the Kurdish leaders, hell, even shot with Barzani’s son, and they’re all good people and get along with Turks. Talabani is feted in Turkey and has a special passport from Turkey for transit. Us and the Turks do a lot for the Kurds and of course, need to do more.

Not a web site, I’ve been in and out of both places numerous times the last 10 years and did stuff there. Turks make boatloads of money in Erbil, doubt they want to ruin that relationship. They even allowed Kurdish troops transit during operations around the border to keep them from getting hit by ISIS. They do however have a huge problem with the PKK.

Ankara is where the USAF base is in Turkey, that I believe is where they just set up the A10s. Incirlick Air Base, I was TDY there in the early 90’s. Pray that our troops are safe. TY

ISIS or Russkies?
Does it really matter?

Castle by the sea, lots of shopping. They have a great Chinese restaurant and did run around the city some. I was there with the A10s as a weapons troop.
