Students at the College of William & Mary want Thomas Jeffersonâs status removed from campus because they call him an âincestuous rapistâ and a âracist.â
The Jefferson statue there is now covered in yellow notes that say things including: âhe knew it was wrong,â âracistâ ârapist,â âblack lives matter,â and â stop worshiping racists.â
The College of William & Mary, Jeffersonâs alma mater, is one of many schools in America where student activists are debating the legacy of the Founding Fathers and demanding the removal of anything that commemorates them.
At Princeton University, student activists held a sit-in inside the office of the president demanding that Woodrow Wilsonâs name be removed from all the universityâs buildings.
Students at the University of Missouri are also targeting Thomas Jefferson. A petition has been created for the removal of Jeffersonâs statue from university grounds.

Damn confederate flag! Oh wait...
Maybe they could replace it with a statue of Bill Clinton.
It’s easier to remove the “students.”
bunch of losers trying to look important, who have no idea of history.
Little communist bastards have been taught well, I suggest that IF the ever graduate that when they do we ship them off to north Korea
In the absence of proof of anything but a consensual relationship, all of a sudden someone has a problem because the possible baby daddy wasn't black?
Really?
When half of the black babies out there are born in wedlock again, let's talk about it.
I need to put a picture of TJ on my home page. :) Must Google to find a good one.
The last thing North Korea (or any Communist regime) really wants are “true believers.” They usually have to be killed. (Then, of course, you already know that ;-))
BTW, if Tommy Jeff loved the brown meat, how could he be racist ?
Black Mizzou student targeted on Twitter after Thomas Jefferson protest:

I know that the Breitbart website wants to be confrontational, but the lack of the word “some” means that it’s the entire student body and that is wrong. This is coming from individual pressure groups and not the entire student body and we fail by not identifying it as such.
This whole movement is about maintaining the white race as the scapegoat for all black misdeeds and shortcomings. Racism is unfortuntely a universal sin and all races have enslaved others so the BLM should get off their high horse and start treating everyone as they want to be treated.
Itâs easier to remove the âstudents”
I like your approach Bob!
The whole point of Black Lives Matter is to defame Jefferson and the things he said. I get it now.
Gee—Back when I went to W&M you had to be smart to be admitted.
Just paving the way for Islam to install statues of pedophile child rapist, Mohammed. Yes they are that stupid. Educated to the point of stupidity where truth is whatever you say it is which is satanic in nature.
I wonder if the Taliban will come to the W&M job fair to advertise some job openings they have for blowing up Buddhist statues, or if ISIS will advertise for more people to help bulldoze churches and temples.
Will Jefferson and Washington be on our coins and currency in ten years? Will their faces remain on Mt. Rushmore? The modern progressives are moving quickly to change the nation. The heritage of the racist past and white privilege must be erased for the justice of the new society to be realized. Events are unfolding rapidly and the forces driving the agenda believe all rights and privileges of citizens must be defined by the all powerful state and constantly evolve based on the needs of the collective as defined by the ruling elites.
To completely eradicate the racist legacy of slavery it is not enough to erase the names of, and monuments to, the slaveholders. The concepts of inalienable rights, individual liberty, and republican government the founding slaveholders advocated, and put in place, must also disappear from the nation’s memory.
The end game is approaching. So far the campaign to change America has been incredibly successful. At every critical juncture the opponents have been coopted, pushed aside or annihilated. Like the German citizens of the 1950’s Americans have calmly adapted to the loss of freedoms and accepted every behavior change imposed by the state. Historical, legal and cultural understanding of “right and wrong” have been swept aside and replaced by ever changing arbitrary standards of political correctness administered by zealots backed by those holding the reigns of power.
Without any meaningful pushback from large organized groups of citizens soon, the fundamental transformation of America will be complete within a decade. At the rate events are unfolding, the day a president sends Congress home, assumes absolute power, and orders the writing of a new Constitution is not far away. At that last critical moment will state governors, judges, and ordinary citizens put their own lives at risk by going into the streets and saying no? Or will the experiment of 1776 die with a whimper as people sit in their homes interfacing with the 21st century technological marvels made possible by the creativity and economic prosperity achievable in a society that embraces individual liberty. There will be irony in your neighbor playing a video game in her home, blasting the forces of evil in a virtual world, while a swat team is breaking down your door to confiscate your guns and take you to a reeducation camp or worse.
I am a William and Mary alumnus - ‘77. Back then it was a classic American college campus with streaking, drinking, consensual hetero-sex in the dorms, and was also a challenging intellectual environment.
Later we had a new age 4$$hole for a college president (name escapes me) who started the conversion.
When they took the cross out of the Wren Chapel on campus, I wrote them a scathing note, and told them to NEVER expect any more alumni money from me.
W&M is dead to me now.
