If they have a warrant, why don’t they knock on the door, wait for the home owner to answer and show it to him?
They could say something like “I’m officer Schmaltz with the state police. We have a warrant to search your home for...”
You know. Police stuff?
“Wearing full military gear and wielding high-powered rifles, Delaware state police broke into a home Friday”
This is a lot more fun!
According to the article the guy wasn't home at the time. What isn't explained is why they were raiding his home for guns in the first place.
Because the police are ninja wannabes who don’t give a tinker’s damn about your so called rights.
“If they have a warrant, why donât they knock on the door, wait for the home owner to answer and show it to him?”
Then they wouldn’t get to play Rambo...
They must have been worried that he was going to flush the guns down the toilet.
I’m beginning to doubt the collective IQ of today’s police.
They don’t seem to realize that there are web-enabled cameras almost EVERYWHERE today, and whatever they do is being watched and will turn up on YouTube eventually.
They were afraid that he would flush his guns down the toilet.
Then they couldn’t play with all their neat toys and play jack-booted thugs against the common citizen.
