Frank Luntz, who was moderating the forum, noted that was strong criticism and asked what the motivation was.
“I am neither a psychologist or a priest. So what I will say is… Listen this is a president who in the past week said on the national stage that he doesn’t have time for American leadership or America winning. I have got to say that FDR and JFK and Ronald Reagan were rolling over in their graves at a president saying he doesn’t have time for America winning,” Cruz answered.

Cruz was not done with this blistering criticism. He went on to call Obama an apologist for radical Islamic terrorism.
“President Obama… today is serving as an apologist for radical Islamic terrorists. Now what does an apologist mean because you are right (motioning to Luntz) that is a serious charge. An apologist is someone who gives a rationalization, justification, tries to explain it. I remember last year I was the National Prayer Breakfast. You may recall it was the day after a Jordanian pilot was lit on fire by ISIS, and President Obama stood in front of the National Prayer Breakfast and said, ‘Well yes, ISIS has done some bad things, but Christians and Jews have also done bad things,'” Cruz noted. “And then he invokes the Crusades and the Inquisition. Now last I checked both of those ended hundreds and hundreds of years ago. I don’t think it is too much to ask the President to stay in the current millennium. And that is exactly the argument that the terrorists make. It is the argument that ISIS makes as they invoke the Crusades.”
“This week John Kerry said that the attack of the Islamic terrorists on Charlie Heibdo was understandable and justifiable. Listen, I think John Kerry should resign in disgrace,” Cruz added.

Actually, I was thinkng of the word "strategist".
He is pursuing a strategy that appears to be fighting ISIS, without really inflicting much harm, so that no one can accuse him of being on the side of ISIS. Pretty clever, if that is what he is doing.

Yep. I guess Cruz had to temper it a little bit so the lunatic left didn’t label him totally bat-dung crazy. But there is NO DOUBT Obama himself is a radical islamist and fighting against the U.S. Too bad Cruz couldn’t go all the way to the logical conclusion.

Cruz is Ronald Reagan re-incarnated. I think the only thing holding him back is puppy-dog eyes, much like Trump's furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips make him look tough alone with his generic rhetoric.

I’m so glad Ted Cruz is running for President, he is what this country needs in leadership, I pray to God that he wins.
Obummer just pretends to be American, and is trying his best to damage and destroy our country. He IS on the opposite team’s side and he’s not even trying to hide it.
