Since the beginning of the school year, protesters have fiercely railed against Superintendent Antwan Wilson, carrying signs, chanting songs and lambasting him at every school board meeting for being "the face of new Jim Crow."
The repeated use of that racially loaded term -- along with the epithet "Uncle Tom sellout" -- to bash the African-American superintendent has infuriated many in Oakland's black community, who are galled by the choice of words to criticize one of the city's top black leaders, especially when many of the protesters are white teachers.

This is assistance from an unexpected quarter: The Red Fascists are devouring each other. Let it continue.
So my guess? Some white liberal teachers are losing their easy one-on-one jobs and now will have to actually work in front of 20+ students.
Wilson' critics argue that he's gutting special education programs under the guise of trying to mainstream those students, who they say are disproportionately minorities. They also contend that the growth of charter schools in the district -- which Wilson supports -- is harming the African-American, Latino and special education students who are left behind at public schools that must compete with the charters for the same scarce public education dollars.

My daughter went to Montclair Elementary, and did pretty well. She is now finishing her Ph.D.
Reap what you sew. Good to see these lunatics after each other.
A case of doing the right thing for the wrong reasons (special ed teachers picketing to preserve their jobs by not mainlining spec ed students ) vs doing the wrong thing for the wrong reason (superintendent mainlining special ed students to the detriment of all to promote the fiction that special ed kids are discriminated against because they not mainlined completely ignoring their special needs)
Rip what you sew.
Reap what you sow.
My bad, you are right.
