I bet the employee has no opinion or knowledge of Israel.
The company taught her to require either a passport or international drivers license.
The customer presented an israeli drivers license, which according to company policy is not adequate documentation to provide a rental.
I bet you the big wig exec threw a fit and tried to bully her into taking just the israeli drivers license even though it goes against her training and company policy.
She wasn’t impressed and rightly stood her ground.
Later on the phone with national avis he claims to have offered a passport then. By which time they had already decided he was a problem customer they rather not rent to.
The big wig exec ran to the press and falsely cried “discrimination!” when there wasn’t even the tiniest bit involved.
“I bet you the big wig exec threw a fit and tried to bully her into taking just the israeli drivers license even though it goes against her training and company policy.
She wasnât impressed and rightly stood her ground.”
If she disobeyed direct orders from superiors, she deserves to be fired.
