HA ! I was on break from Jury Duty, across the street from there. Some boneheaded kid was skateboarding off the steps; a deputy in uniform came out, and told him to knock it off. As soon as he went inside, the kid went right back to it. The deputy came out and told the kid if he had to come out again, the kid was coming back inside, with him.

I had to go back to the courtroom, before I could see how it played out . . .

Basically, the guy at the center of this waste of time, taxpayer money, breath & ink killed 8 people.

He left witnesses alive.

The Founding Fathers would have had this guy attending a necktie party within a week.

But NOOOOOOO - this is 21st Century Merica, where the taxpeasants have to be milked for every nickel.

So, the DA simply HAS to get the death penalty for the guy, which is nothing but grandstanding [this is in California, where there's a death penalty, but they haven't executed anybody in 10 years, and only 13 people since 1978 - nearly 40 years.].

So, they get into all this convoluted snitching and informing stuff to get a death penalty that'll never happen anyway, and then it ends up getting the case thrown out by a judge.

Now, the local authorities can't pursue charges against the guy - the state has to do it.

As I said - clown show.
