After Paris Attacks, a Political Leader Wants to Bring Back This Medieval Execution for Jihadists
The terrorist attacks in Paris have prompted one political leader to call for turning back the clock to more medieval forms of execution.
The leader, Jean Marie Le Pen, who founded France's most popular far-right party, doesn't think that current solutions to fight terrorism are panning out for his countrymen.
Newsweek reported on what Le Pen suggests they do instead:
The founder of France's far-right National Front (FN) Jean Marie Le Pen urged France to reinstate the death penalty and commit convicted terrorists to the guillotine, French weekly news magazine Marianne reports.
"We must restore the death penalty for terrorists," Le Pen said, before adding "with decapitation."

The idea has some merit. Now watch his eldest daughter come out and slam her Pere as cruel and inhuman. This she will do because reviving the guillotine was his idea, not hers.
I doubt if they do revive it. Most Westerners of today, Americans included, have become to soft and amoral to do this.
I think that whole community or a good portion of it, will become foot-soldiers of the Antichrist himself. They have already believed in a false god; next will be a false messiah aided by a false prophet.
If we wanted to "go Medieval" on them, I'd suggest impalement. It's cheap, and they just might fear it greatly.
It may not be worth the 72 virgins if that's how you gotta go.
Furthermore beheading is the only means of execution allowed to non-Jews by Noachide Halakhah (though I'm sure Le Pen doesn't know this).
Unfortunately, Le Pen, as a European "rightist," has no interest in what the One True G-d might demand of all people everywhere. His concern is the ethnocultural integrity of France, which is ironically not too far from the Leftist ideology of the "indigenous peoples" activists.
Behead them and then put their heads on stakes and feed their carcasses to ravenous pigs.
With all due respect for French traditions they should consider public hangings using a pigskin noose.

When I saw an announcement about this yesterday, it was marked satire. Is this serious this time, or did a news agency fall for satire again?

Entirely correct. You would think that our highly trained journalists would manage to get that right. Of course, they don’t know that the “Age of Reason” and “Enlightenment” are notable for murder on an industrial scale in the service of leftist ideology.
Yeah, when I hear medieval, I think drawing and quartering. Not a bad idea, actually.
And even that persisted well into and beyond the Renaissance.

More correctly, is there anything they "do" know. I don't know of any class of college-educated folk who know LESS than journalism majors. I thought about adding education majors, but on thinking about it, even they know more than the "journos".
The guillotine was not medieval. In fact it was a product of the Enlightenment a quick, sure, and probably painless method of execution, and far too good for likes of these ISIS and Al Qaeda animals. Now if we want to go medieval then burning at the stake, decapitation with a dull battle axe, or hanging, drawing, and quartering would be your options. For sheer entertainment value I’m in favor of the last one, with a good slathering of pork fat to the quarters before shipment as a special nuance.
Not the best solution - too easy. Here is the best solution:
1. During a terrorist attack, both men and woman should rush the terrorist(s) to subdue him. The women should then pummel the terrorist(s) with their fists / purses / feet until they die.
2. If a surviving terrorist(s) is found guilty of terrorism, five women should participate in the firing squad.
3. Before the terrorist(s) embarks to his 72 virgins, his body shall be embalmed and / or marinated in pigs’ blood.
Because the terrorists are so base, vile, and animalistic, we - the civilized ones - need to respond in kind.
