Brussels on lockdown over threat of ‘imminent’ Isis attack - live
Here is the the latest on the international response to “imminent†threats from Islamic State extremists, with Brussels quickly becoming the focus of the most recent developments:
The Belgium capital is on lockdown, with soldiers in the streets, shopping centres closed and sporting events and concerts cancelled after the city’s terror alert was raised to its highest possible level.
The country’s prime minister, Charles Michel, said the decision to raise the alert was taken “based on quite precise information about the risk of an attack like the one that happened in Paris.â€
Locals were told to avoid gatherings, train stations, airports and commercial districts. Service was halted on the Brussels Metro, as well as on tram lines running underground.
An arsenal of weapons was discovered on Friday night by officers searching the home of a terror suspect in Molenbeek, the run-down suburb where Paris attacker Abdelhamid Abaaoud was suspected of operating a terrorist cell.
Aint assimilation grand.
Belgium is by far the biggest problem in Europe. The Muslims have a stronger hold there than anywhere else in Europe.
I watch the show Vice, which I know some here would hate, and they did a piece on this last year that was terrifying.
Massive response. And therein lies the problem with what we’re facing. The jihadis scream “bomb” and “allah u akhbar” into a cellphone and we spend millions on defensive measures. Net cost to them: a cellphone.
Expect this to be the everyday norm as long as Obama and Soros remain in power.
And so once again, the terrorists win.
It would be funny, in an ironic sort of way, for the “European project” to end in Brussels.

Four steps to making your country peaceful.
1) Import Islam into your country,
2) Have Muslims attempt to do jihad in your country,
3) President or other executive implements martial law in said country and locks it down tight.
4) Peace achieved!
If you just export all the Muslims out of Belgium you won’t have to lock down the country.
No Muslims, no terrorism.
They should have kept the savages out. Then this wouldn’t happen.
The fact remains most of these "Belgians" are Muslim first, last, and always. That is where their ultimate allegiance lies - not in the infidel Crusader enemy country of "Belgium".
The sooner everybody (including us) recognizes that fact, the better chance we will have of surviving and defeating this world-wide foe. We just keep importing this political/religious virus into our shores and hope for the best all the while congratulating ourselves on our tolerance. In the end we will have nothing but increasing trouble, despair, violence, and political and personal agony as the Caliphate tightens it's unrelenting wicked grip.
I have to laugh at these fools. A little late to be closing the barn door.
