Marco Rubio has killed ObamaCare

Marco Rubio conceived and pushed a plan that will all but kill ObamaCare -- and he did it years ago.

Thank you.

United Health Care, the nation’s largest HMO, delivered bad news to shareholders but good news for ObamaCare opponents yesterday. The company announced their earnings would take a big hit since ObamaCare and the associated marketplaces have not delivered the customers and the profits that starry-eyed fabulists had projected years ago.

People are not signing up in droves as Barack Obama and all the Democrats and journalists who peddled ObamaCare promised. Expenses are sky-high because among those people who did sign up for ObamaCare policies have been the sickest and most expensive clients in America. Healthier people, whose premiums are needed to fund the program, are staying away because these policies are a bad deal and are unaffordable, especially because at least some have recognized that the Bait and Swindle (low premiums but massive deductibles) have made Obamacare policies unaffordable.

Obamacare was designed to fail. As Obama himself said his healthcare plan would be a transition to a nationalized, single-payer system.

Correct.

And where he stood with Black Lives Matter...Rubio’s NOT a conservative, just another fake and take the money snake oil salesman. The only reliable thing about Rubio is his missed votes.

Next stop single payer?

That's been the goal all along, yes.

This will probably be litigated by an insurer, and eventually Roberts and Kennedy will rule that the intent of Congress was a law in which every insurer would be guaranteed to make money.

You don’t have to convince me that unless the invasion of the US is stopped, the nation can’t be saved. Senator Rubio is a bright guy, articulate, personable and really knowledgeable on foreign affairs. I don’t get why he doesn’t get it.

Rubio is not really a “reliable” anything. He likes welfare for lazy sluggards (himself included) too much and I’m sure single payer is right up his alley. I know you imagine he’s worth something but he’s really not.

How does his law prevent the bailouts when the risk corridors are still in place?

The risk corridor funding is a rob Peter to pay Paul system. With a lack of signups and excessive payouts there isn't much in the account. That is one of the reasons the co-ops have been failing so quickly.
