Thanks, but I would rather these “refugees” stay out entirely.

Let’s just shut down all immigration until ISIS is gone and the southern border is secure.

They may have to amend it to pay for the extra gov’t man-hours. We could cover it easy by just say, taking off a few million from pottery classes in Morocco and the Genital Hygiene Project in central Africa.

Upon a quick read, the bill seems to be reasonable.
No way is the p_resident going to sign anything of its kind into law.
He has other plans for our once great nation.

Wait until we have to pay the cost of adding their language on all documents and signs.

Is anybody with a working brain still in the congress?

They’ll be vetted as well as The Kenyan was.

How about we don’t let ANY in and deport those already here.

Thank you for your greatly detailed explanation of the topic!

Yeah I liked it too --nothing but a link to the bill so we could read and think for ourselves.   I get so sick of sleezy pundits who say what's there w/o links and later we find out the source said no such thing.  What I want are more links w/ less comments.

Congrats!

Considering our last conversation, I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not

Whatever ... I'm too old to see if my thick skin is properly oiled with the correct SP factor ..

Maybe mention what the bill was?

Why create a thread with no information?

A suggestion, next time include:

To require that supplemental certifications and background investigations be completed prior to the admission of certain aliens as refugees, and for other purposes.

This may be surprising to you, but all the FReeper members don’t memorize the topics of each individual poster.

Only 1-1/2 pages of real content, double-spaced. Nice. Strange it only applies to Syria and Iraq, however. It should have cast a much wider net.
