The thing that makes no sense, is why attack Paris before everyone is in place, assuming they have more attacks planned? Perhaps they have been here since before 11/13/15, but quiet and waiting?

It’s not like ISIS recruiting resembles the usual military recruiting, it’s really political recruiting. These people, with the exception of leaders and facilitators, are locals.

It’s the same here in the US, but the leaders and facilitators are having a more difficult time entering the US, which brings me back to the topic of this thread.

My husband and I were talking about the OSU game this weekend. Security has now banned backpacks, but they’re not going to use metal detectors.

It’s cold here...people are wearing puffy parkas. You could hide just about anything in one of those. Plus many fans paint their faces or wear wigs or masks.

They probably have to take out a high-profile target whenever they find an opportunity. This is also an on-going campaign. This is not an operation in which they blew up all targets at once and be done with it. Think of it as a war. They take out major enemy targets one by one, and eventually conquer them all.
