Don’t you have to yodel and howl to allah when one prepares halal meat?
LOL
Mohammed took parts of Judaism and Christianity when concocting his own delusional sect. It was suppose to help cover up the moderately crazy stuff. The pathologically crazy stuff was taken out later. These are the Satanic Verses that Rushdie wrote about.
I heard that 100 men tried Camels but 99 still preferred women.
Not a complete list. For example, most insects are not kosher nor are scaleless fish like eel.
I thought all those food prep rules came about due to all the rampant food borne diseases in ancient times. They were codified into their religion.
They are just a waste of time these days.
Although in Acts, Peter did see the vision of the sheet that showed the animals that the Christians were allowed to eat, the only thing close and I had a very long and busy is, do not eat any animals if known, that were offered to pagan gods.
I once talked to a guy who had a Halal chicken processor as one of his customers.
You are correct. He said that they would bring all of these chickens out into a penned area, and then turn on a tape of an Imam praying. Then the bloodletting would begin. They’d start slitting chicken throats and letting them bleed out just as fast as they could go. For once that prayer ended and the speakers fell silent, they had to stop.
Weird!
No catfish if you keep Kosher. Bummer.
That’s why I included the Wikipedia article.
“No catfish if you keep Kosher. Bummer. “
And yet dogfish is. Doesn’t seem very fair.
Shellfish and lobster/shrimp off both lists as well, I have heard?
Practice makes perfect.
Ummm ... to the best of my knowledge, dogfish is a shark and has no scales.
cf. amia calva; that kind of dogfish I think is kosher. Not a shark.

Whut? Are we can eat aminules or not busy is?
Derp! Comma.
I have a question.
Why make such a big deal over what I post? I do not and so should you.
We leave in very troubling times and you make a BIG DEAL what I spell?
