Flight Diverted, Security Concerns

The title says exactly what is known. The only addition is that it was being diverted due to a security incident. Flight 65 from LAX to Paris has been diverted to Salt Lake City.

I think those travelers are going to be disappointed. Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember SLC IAP selling strong beer. So the passengers have that going for them.

With the Paris attacks fresh in everyone's mind, I would expect a slew of false threats because they will serve to cause a lot of disruptions. They can cry "wolf" for a while to mess things up and then strike again when the fervor to stop them cools again.
Rinse and repeat as required to keep us off balance.
If we were to do what France is doing - using intelligence that was available before the attacks - to conduct a lot of raids, I wonder how much weaponry we would find...
