As the hunt for the perpetrators of the attacks in Paris continue, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Monday that he is uniquely qualified to be commander-in-chief because he has an "instinct" for sensing threats.

"In my book I predicted terrorism. Because I can feel it," said Trump, speaking to thousands of supporters packed into Tennessee's Knoxville Convention Center. "I can feel it like I feel a good location."

I was really hoping to vote for this man and/or Cruz in some combination or other, but he is making it harder than he has to with his silly statements.

He’s at least the Second Coming! Geeze.

He has reminded me of a snake oil salesman since the beginning.

Trump does have an uncanny ability to predict which issues will resonate and even an ability to target certain issues that are about to become even bigger issues because of future events.

I’m sure almost anyone would have a better instinct dealing with terrorism than the current Jihadi-in-chief.

He was correct about bin laden
Right about terrorist
Government is finally getting around to attacking the oil
He knows the history of our greatest generals. McCarther, Ike, Patton.
Keep asking if he had classes at NYMA regarding warfare? Who were his teachers

-— “I can feel it like I feel a good location.” -—

What does that even mean?

Fact: he wrote about a 9/11 level event involving Bin Laden, published in 2000. (Most likely written in 1999.)

Fact: He said the Syrian refuse was a Trojan horse.

Who else running is calling these shots in public?

Yeah, but he’s selling the bacon. It’s sizzling, baby. The Trump Doctrine is already in effect.

Enough is enough with those Islamic bastards! Bomb the shit out of them.

Take the oil. Take the cannoli.

yes, but geez - most everyone knew about Bin laden. They knew his group inspired the 1993 WTC bombing and the Cole bombing. Claiming in 2000 that he’s a “shadowy figure” is hardly prescient.

Bet you ripped him on building the wall, sending the illegal’s back, open carry, sending Syrians back, bombing ISIS...

Kinda looks like he does have good instincts. His speech made perfect sense and yes he does seem to say things and then the world underlines them.

Pray America wakes

He has the instincts of a winner and also the top flight advisers that any winner knows how to acquire. I would be inclined to believe that he also listens to conflicting opinions unlike someone currently in power.

I haven’t ripped him at all. I just said I hope to vote for him. I’m not sure I’ll get that chance. But we’ll see.

Good stock market traders and even long term investors have a good ability to predict future movements and Trump seems to have this.

It is part natural ability and part immersion in information (combined with an ability to determine which information is valuable and which is not).

It appears that Trump has been getting direct advice from some generals recently and this is improving his insight.
