At least 15 Republican governors and one Democratic governor have announced plans to block Syrian refugees from resettling in their states in the wake of last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley issued statements Sunday saying that they wanted to prioritize the safety of the residents in their states.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott; Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a GOP presidential candidate; Arkansas Gov. Gov. Asa Hutchinson; Indiana Gov. Mike Pence; Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant; Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner; Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker; Florida Gov. Rick Scott; North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory; Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican presidential candidate; Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey; Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker; and Maine Gov. Paul LePage joined them on Monday.
New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan, who is challenging Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R) for her Senate seat, became the first Democratic governor to call for halting the acceptance of refugees until the vetting process is reviewed.

So far I count 17 saying “No room at the Inn.”
Alabama and Texas are saying no.
I called my Governor’s office today (Nevada) but was told they have heard nothing about his plans.
PHOENIX â âGiven the horrifying events in Paris last week, I am calling for an immediate halt in the placement of any new refugees in Arizona. As governor, I am invoking our stateâs right under 8 USC, Section 1522 (a), to receive immediate consultation by federal authorities per the United States Refugee Act, and that the federal government take into account the concerns and recommendations of the state of Arizona as they are required to under federal law, in our efforts to keep our homeland safe.
Idiot Gov Inslee (WA) has said “yep, we’ll take ‘em”. What a moron. The careful reader may note that I did NOT vote for him.
One accepting is Nikki Haley in S Carolina. Placing them in Spartenburg. They are coming in via a religious group that is getting a FEDERAL grant from the (damned) State Department. The “Bureau of population, refugees and migration”. This is the funding source making this happen that needs to be DEFUNDED by the House immediately. Also one group very active in this is Catholic Charities. As dangerous as Planned Parenthood in my opinion. Do-gooder Christians are going to get us killed trying to save a bunch of damned Muslims. Why the hell are they bringing in Muslims when the CHRISTIANS over there are being beheaded? Write your congressman and defund the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. Not much your gov can do about it, it is FEDERAL. But Nikki got my wrath in a letter for her do-gooder support of this. If you are a Catholic...best you be asking some questions after mass.
Lovely. Where in Virginia are stuck with Terry McAuliffe as our governor. They will flood in here.
Send them all to Washington, DC - split up among whatever neighborhoods the Senators and Congressmen reside.

Nathan Deal governor of GA released his announcement a couple of hours ago. The sovereign state of GA will be taking no refugees.
Nicki Haley is severely RINO.
