A North Texas man came forward nine months after he said five volunteer firefighters sexually assaulted him with a sausage in his first interviews Wednesday.
Jason Waldeck, 20, revealed his side of what happened Jan. 20 in the headquarters of the Emergency Service District 6 Volunteer Fire Department in Waxahachie on KXAS-TV. The former high school volunteer firefighter is getting back to fulfilling his childhood dream of serving the community, he said.
An Ellis County grand jury indicted the five firefighters, one of the men’s girlfriends, and their chief and assistant chief in September in the case. Waldeck showed the TV station a cellphone video of the attack where a group can be heard laughing at the time he said they were holding him down on a couch in the firehouse.

i have a bunch of firefighter friends in nyc. they are insane and the pranks are insane.
i know i will be in the Very small minority but i would be mad but not bring charges.
they’ve set guys lockers on fire. and worse.
if this was done to a marine who was causing grief, would you think differently?

Bizarre. And not that far off I-45 going south out of Dallas. I was driving through there, alone, a few years ago, after a close relative died of cancer.
And yeah, I had my 9mm in the car, carrying according to federal law methods as advised by my FFL (since I was driving through several places, he advised such, since I don’t have CCW).

There ~is~ video. That's what finally led to charges, when law enforcement saw the video. The Grand Jury saw it too. True bill was a no brainer.
As the story reports accurately, the chief and assistant chief are charged because they pressed others to keep quiet about the assault.

i dont know. grew up in a tough, crazy neighborhood. pranks got pretty insane.

but if you think this doesn’t happen all the time in sports lockers and fire depts and other male dominated arenas, you would be wrong.
