Following Friday's deadly terrorist attacks in Paris linked to ISIS, Gov. Rick Snyder said he's made the decision to suspend efforts to bring Syrian refugees to Michigan.
While acknowledging the state's "rich history of immigration" Snyder said the first priority needs to be protecting the safety of the state’s residents.
"Given the terrible situation in Paris, I've directed that we put on hold our efforts to accept new refugees until the U.S. Department of Homeland Security completes a full review of security clearances and procedures," Snyder said in a statement released to media Sunday.

I think you are right. I heard that one or two of the Paris terrorists were French citizens. If that is true they had to be in France for some time, I guess. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Gov. of Mich. just had to insert this religion of peace BS and it’s just a few extremists. Don’t they know that anyone with an IQ over 60 knows this is BS? Or maybe they just don’t care.

Maybe Snyder had a good talk with the Adjutant General of the Michigan National Guard and Rep. Candice Miller about why we need to protect our service men and women from the threat of these “refugees”, among other jihadists living in the Great Lakes region, including Ontario.
