I think it has only accelerated something that was already happening anyway. Even before ObamaCare, doctors were losing more and more of their ability to run a medical practice because they were always beholden to the insurance companies that covered their patients.

The whole industry had already become and endless avalanche of paperwork. This is what happens whenever you have a product or service that is paid through a third party rather than a direct provider-customer transaction.

On the other hand some doctors have gone back to direct pay and are doing well. Cant probably realistically work for all doctors right now but for some it has.
