The black separatism of yesteryear still wanted funding from whites; they always had the option to return to Africa (including countries laden with gold, diamonds, and/or oil), and none availed themselves of it.

We’ve found safe space from the race war, and they don’t have the numbers to do anything about it. At this point the blackest areas of inner cities (at least here in the northeast) are surrounded by a girdle of Hispanics and Asians that provide a buffer - and the whites beyond are relatively safe.
